Well, I went to look at the gun today- ready to buy it. When I first saw it, I thought something looked odd- the gold medallion was down awfully close to the end of the butt stock. Someone had cut the stock down to 11 inches. About 12 1/2 inches with a 1/4 inch spacer and a dried out 1 inch white line pad. So much for that. Gorgeous gun, too.

I would have asked what the LOP is before driving anywhere to look at it as a potential purchase, whether 100 miles or across the hamlet. Just common sense to ask if the barrels or the wood has been cut.
