I have a Dakota Arms Legend... well I think it is. My dad passed.. he was a big collector. Don't know the history of the shotgun. It's a 12ga SxS. Beautiful gun. It's in a silver case. A stamp on the bottom of the shotgun is 50-1997.

Nice guns. If I recall correctly, they were built for Dakota Arms by the Italian maker Ferlib. There's a two-barrel set Legend on Guns International now for $11,999. Who knows what it will sell for. Your best bet for value is to check online gun sites (e.g. Guns International, etc.) for listings of similar guns or recent sale prices.

I think the “Legend” was the round action that was made by Ferlib and designed by Ivan Tanfoglio. That was the high end of the Dakota line.

The gun in the picture has thru lumps and looks more like one of the SIACE built guns for Dakota.
