I would second Jim's advise. I would also call Cole's and tell them what you are seeking. They are likely to have a good forearm on hand. If it were me, I'd look for a clean 20 with ejectors, they are more plentiful and you don't pay an arm and a leg for cartridges and odds are good you can get more of 'something' should you run out afield, not always so w/a 28, but a box of 28 cartridges hardly fills a pocket and none can argue that. It gets down to what appeals to you and at what price .. as described, its high. Having said that, I pd close to that last year for a S56E 20 [they were later labeled as BL-4's] that is exceptional and as new. The original owner was suffering from terminal health issues and was trying to get top $$ for it. I thot it was worth his asking price. It is 28" IM & F, yet another dove gun. A 28 extractor with flaws is something I would weigh carefully before putting a lot into it.
