Tut,
You could consider a Webley 100 semi-hammerless gun. I have a 16 bore one, which I call my Covid gun - I bought it sight unseen during the Covid lockdown. It was made in 1964 but never used. The colour case-hardening is superb. The semi-hammerless design requires only slightly more effort than sliding off a safety catch.
It is built on the 12 bore action, has a 2 3/4" chamber with a 30" barrel and weighs 6 lbs 6 ounces, and so handles and swings like a double.
I agree with Parabola about the 1 : 96 rule for gun weight. However it is full choke so one needs to be accurate... All good fun for $200.
