I need to learn more about how you gentlemen go about having your side by side shoots. At one club I attend, there has been a standing rule for several decades that- if you become 70 years old and have been a member in good standing for 10 consecutive years- you have a free lifetime membership. And you don't have to pay any dues- which are about $160.00 per year. We used to have about 2,000 members, but a lot have passed away. Expenses caused people to stop shooting and then a lot of our members (I have heard about half) are now over that 70 year mark. My buddy and I are about the only ones (who I can see) who shoot side by sides. I need to find out how groups hold their side by side shoots and how to get people to shoot. Things like-how do YOUR GROUPS encourage people to shoot? Do you offer door prizes? Money? Aim toward younger ages? Some of us are interested in finding things like this out.
