There is another, related, topic lurking under the surface of this discussion of occasional poor heat treatment of the parts that comprise Spanish artisanal shotguns.

That topic concerns the Spanish shotguns damaged by the misuse by shooters who don't understand, or disregard, the design limitations of the Spanish shotguns they shoot. I won't go into that topic here as it is off-topic, but will use this post to segue into a new topic I will initiate.
