im being tempted to purchase a k32 super crown r&i.
as many know, only 50 complete ones were made.
most are in the hands of collectors. some got shot. all were custom ordered to the highest degree of craftsmanship.
these k guns are always getting stripped changed out and made personal and this one certainly has been.
yet...there it is 1 of 50 floating around w/o anything attached. so here comes the big debate, do guns with matching numbers command a premium or dont they?
knowing only 50 exist, id be only interested in having a shooter, build it up to my specs and be proud to own one. a franken super crown in other words.
if i can find a super crown bbl, great. if i can find some nice custom d-willer wood fine. if it all gets fitted and points..... even better.
my only concern is........what are the odds of recooping all the overheads in this project, knowing how rare a super crown k32 is?
has everyone just moved on to k80 crowns making 32's pink elephants?
id like to hear some feedback on if im going down a dark road.
