It’s had 10 handles, and six heads, but it’s still King Alfred‘s axe.

That’s what I think of Krieghoff K 32 Franken guns.

My take on it is that it’s a mistake to pursue it. K 32s are old. The people that lust after them are old. That’s a mismatch for getting your money back out of it.

But if you like shooting it, and aren’t concerned about the economics of the matter, then have at it. Put up some pictures of whatever your Franken-Kreighoff ends up looking like. Lord knows I could use the stimulation.
