Oh wow, Perry! An Ithaca Model 37! That was my first shotgun I bought when I was 16. I still have it. It's a 20 gauge with a solid rib. I had it reblued years ago and it is a fantastic gun. It has a full choke and I always shot it very well. I got a lot of squirrels, quail and rabbits with it. You might want to try it with the full choke. It might work better than you imagine.
