All I can say is that I bought a pretty expensive gun from Cabela's Gun Room and it was a very pleasant and flawless transaction. A couple of things...

1) Call and make the best deal you can telling them that you won't be using a credit card since credit card companies charge fees to the seller - plan to write a check or wire them the money,
2) have the Cabelas stoe that has the actual gun ship the gun to your local Cabelas - they will do it for free.
