My 2 cents
This gun looks decent based on the limited pictures, but who knows if it's totally original wood or finish wise. It is an ejector gun, you can tell this from enlarging the picture showing the side of forearm iron and the pin in it is the visual indictor of the ejectors, extractor 21's won't have this pin. This makes the gun a little rarer in that many of the early DT 21's were extractor guns, especially on those smaller than 12ga.
I do agree that you have to watch buying from Cabela's anymore due to the lack of knowledge of some of their gun library personnel. I knew things had changed at Cabela's gun library's when I walked into one and saw semi-auto black guns sitting in the racks. The starting point would be a phone call and based on it, see if they'll move on the price. Basically, it's no different than any other internet gun purchase being like Forests box of chocolates "you never know what you're going to get"
The posted weight of this one does seem to be on the heavy side. My 28" 16ga DT, ejector, splinter 21 tips the scales at 6.9lbs. I would ask them to re-weigh it if I was interested in it.
