Back in 2022 I bought this SKB 500 over and under (and the Valmet Skeet above in the same lot) for similar reasons - 2 3/4” chambers and not too worried if I had to use standard steel in them.

The SKB was well used but both have good (chrome lined?) bores, and is a reasonable fit with a Pachmayer slip on pad (the type with a Velcro securing tab).

I haven't yet mastered the art of posting a photo with a post as yet. Here is a link to my Google Photos album of the Miroku 500E 12 bore I mentioned in my above post.

I have a Miroku Daly 500 that is noticeably lighter than my BSS Sporter. Both are two-barrel sets, 28"and 30". My recollection is that the Daly barrels are lighter than the BSS barrels.

I saw a really nice Miroku at a show today. I don't see a nice one too often. It seems like most of the Mirokus I see anymore are beat to a pulp. They always were nice guns, though. Dependable, too. Good luck with yours.

Hi Crow Shooter,

Posting pictures in this Forum is relatively easy if you use a photo hosting site.

I used to use Imgur, but they blocked UK users (Online Safety Act) so I now use IMGBOX which still works.

I have uploaded one of your gun pictures.

To do this, open an account with IMGBOX (no charge, you will need to create a user name and password), and select a photo.

Select a photo and when you get to this screen enter these settings.

When you get this screen copy the code in the BB-Code box at top right.

Then paste your chosen image into your post.

There you are. Nice gun by the way.

I have one of the English imported model 150 in 12 gauge, with the straight stock. Its currently getting a pad put on it. It is what the BSS should have been. Splinter forearm with double triggers and ejectors. I bought mine at an auction in 98 percent condition. Chokes are .022 and .045. Weight is 6 lb 8 oz. Probably 6 lb 10 oz with the pad on it now. Should have it back in a few weeks. It truly is a nice gun and hard to find in the US.
