The 685...686...and 687 are all on the Beretta 680 platform; the model upgrades are mostly cosmetic. I have a Model 685E 20 gauge with double triggers 2 3/4" chambers w/28" barrels and fixed chokes originally built for the European market w/sling swivels that weighs less than 6lbs. Originally, I didn't care for the sling swivels; but after a short while in the field hunting with it, I quickly changed my mind. When I purchased my 685E, I probably paid a premium for it, but I haven't seen another one like it since.
