I do remember the pasty skinned maggot of a government perfunctory, with a bad comb over, telling me she was my problem at her immigration hearing, and there would be no assistance, medical or otherwise, and even if she ran off with the local Tren de Aragua branch, I was responsible for demonstrating she had health insurance, a roof over her head, and three squares a day, and if she got so much as a parking ticket to expect her to be deported.

She took to American life like a baby duck to water. The notion of going out and actually hunting what you are going to eat is ‘kinda weird to her (city girl) but, she plays along:
