Um...you replied to my short post with another Larry Brown level rant of verbal vomit to attempt to bait...that makes you to one triggered, child. Try to pay attention TransGomer Geoff... I didn't reply to your "short post". I replied to nineteen highly triggered Posts from you that had absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this Thread. I replied to your obvious repeated intent to disrupt and derail this particular Thread. You've been triggered into adding at least another seven Posts, so that's something like twenty-six off-topic Posts in one Thread... and counting. In addition, my terminally triggered child, I never confidently claimed that I couldn't be triggered or baited into making a reply to you or anyone else. It was you who said that, and you who has since proven that you are more easily triggered than a sub-machine gun with a worn sear. Several guys beside myself have shown you can be triggered or baited into repeated rants. I laughed at your narcissistic little ploy of trying to silence anyone who disagrees with you by acting as if you've won if you can shut them up, and also acting like you've won if they respond to your drivel. You have mocked people for "yelling past each other", yet you are too dumb to see yourself doing exactly what triggers you. You have repeatedly stated that nobody changes anyone else's mind by engaging in this behavior, yet here you are... trying to change people who you cannot and will not ever change. I've happily stayed out of this thread but this post deserves a response.
CZ, I'm only talking about the current Iran situation but are you really unaware of how happy most Iranians are that finally, someone is taking the murderous, authoritarian boot off their necks. Do you know any Iranians? I do. Quite a number. They are universally happy about this. Have you seen footage from the streets of Iran? These people DEFINITELY are happy someone is invading them. They still worry about the unknown future. They aren't free yet. But they can smell freedom from where they are now. Of course the killing of school children is a tragic mistake. But compare that to their own government slaughtering 30,000, who had the temerity to protest, inside of 24 hours just last month. Yep. Pretty simple.

I guess I’ve spent the majority of my adult life in the company of Iranians. Both pro Shah, and anti-Shah, pro Khomeini and anti-Khomeini.
There’s a pretty good sized expat Iranian community where I live. A couple different mosques. Call to prayer, all that stuff.
Plenty of people crying out for an end to this folly.
It must be different in Canada.
Out there doing it best I can.

On the other hand, what you call outrage is more like a stone in my shoe. We have a newly self-appointed conscience of the forum, who is going to dictate behavior and what is acceptable. Dave doesn't dictate behavior. At least not very often. And now this buffoon is going to put himself in charge? You want to talk about hypocrisy? How many posts has he made in this thread, and how many of them have been on topic? Or related to the topic?
