Raimey,
German 9,3x72Rs were often proofed with a crown E to indicate Express proof I don't see why Belgian ones wouldn't also be so proofed. I'm guessing other 9.3s, certainly 9.3x57Rs (360-2 1/4 Flanged), would be express proofed.

Yeah, but not a 9,3X74R in that platform.

Pieper would chamber for any known cartridge, on request. They sold guns "for the trade" to German suppliers also.

Also, proof of other such rifles exported to Germany just are not mentioned. Possibly non-Express Rifles were not exported to Germany, but that sounds suspect. I have not found in info in the Belgian Proof Law that references the use of the >>Express<< Stamp. But it could be a liberal interpretation that all arms exported to Germany were to parallel the German Rules, hence the >>Express<< stamp.
Now I would like to see proof data from the 9,3X47R Express?
