What will you use the Greener for, Mike? Is it going to be a using gun, or just a collectible, or do you plan to flip it?

I bought this one for me. I'm moving down to North Carolina in May so I'll use it for birds and maybe rabbits. I miss bird hunting up here in Alaska. I have 1600 2 1/2" cartridges loaded. Should be enough.

No birds in Alaska? I would have thought the bird hunting was better there than in N. Carolina.

We have spruce grouse but you can kill them with a slingshot. On flush they will fly 5 to 10 feet and sit there. Ptarmigan up in the mountains but you either have to be young enough to climb one or own a plane.

I’m very familiar with Spruce grouse. I don’t hunt them, either. If I did, I might use a section of conduit and a burlap sack, rather than waste ammunition.
Not sure what I would do with them after that. They definitely are not a ruffed grouse on the table.

Good luck on your relocation. You have a pretty shotgun to use when you get there.

Ted
