OP Mike Harrell Sidelock Joined: Dec 2001 Posts: 3,814 Likes: 283 Alaska	We have spruce grouse but you can kill them with a slingshot. On flush they will fly 5 to 10 feet and sit there. Ptarmigan up in the mountains but you either have to be young enough to climb one or own a plane.
