I think I may need an intervention... I've been on a left hand kick lately (I'm left eye dominant). Made an offer on this rifle that I didn't think would even be considered...and they accepted. Then, a friend said, "I was going to make you a great price on my G&H .270..."... my immediate reaction was, "may I come visit this week? Might have another toy I don't really need by this weekend.

As a left hander I am suitably jealous. What a beautiful rifle!

I was puzzling over the identity of the action, with the safety looking somewhat similar to the left handed Heym built Mauser 2000L, but thanks to Google I now realise that Mathieu was the action builder.
