The NE chapter is shooting this weekend at Addieville in Rhode Island, not sure about the nationals.

I tried searching and couldn't find anything, would you happen to have a link? Too late to shoot, but might take a ride if there are some vendors
I have become addicted to English hammered shotguns to the detriment of my wallet.

I think the Vintagers main chapter has closed. Leaving only State Chapters up and going.

That is correct. And the Vintage Gunners Cup event is done too. That's too bad. I went to it when it was held at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow and taught it was a ''Good Event''. I was hoping it would have been moved to a mid west state like Ohio, Iowa, or Indiana . That would have put some ''New '' life back into it. Dirty Harry

Southern SXS is the biggest event now and nothing else is close. NE SXS because of its location and history still has a decent following, but it nothing like it was 10 years ago imo. IMO better courses to shoot and less crowds. Far far less vendors now then years ago.

There was a time for the Vintagers, and those who enjoyed it know that.
Myself, I look for opportunities to enjoy my shooting clothes. My wife did too once upon a time.
But wisecracks and derision amongst the so called “shooting community” ended that.
And I see her point.
Out there doing it best I can.

If the guys that come to these ''Shoots'' ''''BUY'''' From the Vendors, than there would be a hell of a lot '''MORE''' Vendors coming to these shoots. Dirty Harry

Nah. I love going to shoots and spending money. The internet makes it unnecessary.
Out there doing it best I can.

I don't like going to a show where I have to ship a gun back home to an FFL if I buy one. I'm having it set up so a couple FFL buddies will buy a gun for me at a show and then take it back to my home from a show and sell it to me. Every FFL I know tells me- DO NOT SHIP A GUN. Too many people I know have had guns damaged or stolen by shipping them. So, if they aren't private owners in my own state when I buy a gun, there is no sense in me going to a gun show. I might look around, but I sure won't be buying anything in an out of state gun show.

My favorite time of the year, the Southern Side by Side. I am a member there at Deep River so I will be there every day. Sorry to say I spent all my gun money three weeks ago on a Holland.

Jimmy, become an agent of a local FFL and carry copies of his license to shows. Do a transfer when you get home. No fuss, no muss.

You are a ''Lucky'' guy. Dirty Harry P.S. The latest word out is Hausmann's is going to be next in line to the Southern. Meaning they will be a ''LOT'' better this year. Lets do our part and help Hausmann's get back to the days of glory. Dirty Harry
