Lloyd--As you know, everyone around here is talking about the warm/dry fall, winter & spring we've been experiencing.

I'm a 68-year-old native Coloradan and my 96yr old mother was born here in 1930. She was born in the era of both the great depression and the dust bowl. Between the two of us we've seen many dry/warm winter spells along with just as many nasty winters that you think will never end. With that said, this winter beat them all for warm & dry. I only had a snow shovel in my hand about six times for snows less than 3" and never fired up the snowblower. The upside is I was also able to get out to Colorado clays at least once a week throughout the winter and had several outings shooting in shirtsleeves during January & February. The shooting venues around here had to love this winter business wise. Colorado Clays was busy all winter long & only had to close down a couple of days all winter from snow.

You are correct though that between the climate change alarmist & our sensationalized media you'd think the sky is falling. I'm the first to admit that things have changed some over my lifetime, but I chalk that up to the fact that this old world of ours has been warming & cooling forever and it will continue to do so forevermore. Anymore rather than watching the media hype-up a 2" snowstorm into the blizzard of the century, I just look at the weather app that came with my phone, I've found it to be pretty accurate & you don't have to put up with the weather babe hype on TV.

Weather---Sure Enough--We're going to have some!!
