I am going to post this on GB. But I am also lazy and trying to get it to someone who might know they want one.

This has the swamped top rib, and has not been cut. It is both marked and measures full and full for what that is worth. I have seen a number (? greater than 6 less than 12?) of 24 in 28's from Ithaca and have personally handled an original 20 ga, 24 in swamped rib configuration grade 4 gun as well. Interesting portion of the production. Although I don't overly care for the diminuative piece, I could envision quite a day of yore chasing quail over Southern plantations.

I have seen several 24" barreled 28ga Ithaca doubles. Quite a common length of barrel in 28 ga for the Scottish makers as well, a client owns a McNaughton 28ga with 24" barrels.
