I have completed a project that only required about 10 years of time. I Acquired this Boss Purdey 2nd Patent Thumb Lever about 10 years ago. New stock, new pins, old case fitted to the gun. At least four different craftsmen have worked on this gun and I’ve mailed it off probably six times for work to be done. It’s been a fun project and hopefully I’ll have 30 more years to hunt and shoot clays with this somewhat unique gun. What a crazy hobby with a negative ROI unless you factor in fun and enjoyment.
