I have recently acquired two nice single shot rifles. One is chambered in 219 improved zipper and the other in 222 rimmed. I’m interested in buying loaded ammunition or brass for both of these rifles.

Can't help with ammunition but, have fun with those rifles. First thought that came to my mind is, do you hunt crows?

Have not really shot many crows. My dad used to use these rifles to shoot woodchucks that were burrowing in his fields and eating his corn.

We don't have woodchucks here, but crows pull up young corn seedlings, and play havoc with peanuts, too. I can sympathize with your Dad. I have an old 1947 Husqvarna Mauser .220 Swift that does occasional duty on crows.

Good luck in your search for ammo.

not much help, but i have 15 rds of fired 219 improved zipper cases - super speed - clean usable brass.

i have not the faintest idea where it came from...you're welcome to it if desired.

Bertram makes 222 Rem rimmed. Buffalo arms carries it when in stock. I believe you can make it from 357 Maximum brass. 5.6x50 Rimmed Magnum would be the easy button for forming.

219.Zipper.from 25-35, 30-30 you might have to neck turn.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.
