Does anyone have a copy of the Nov/Dec Game and Gun Magazine.
I would like to find and purchase one.

Bob, is there a certain article you are interested in? I can't give up my issue because it is part of a full set of Shooting Sportsman to 2019. However, I will copy whatever you need. Murphy

Yes!
I would like the article written by Terry Wieland titled "THE SPANISH PURDY". From the PGCA Board you probably saw I picked up a Pedro Arrizabalaga 20 Ga at the Southern. I would like to learn a little more about P. A.
Thank you Bill!!

Bob, the article is just a chapter from Wieland's book on Spanish guns. I'll copy the article unless you want to search for the book on ebay or Amazon. Let me know and email me your address.

I have the book. I'll have to look closer.
Thank you for your efforts.

Bob, I didn't compare the article with the book chapter paragraph by paragraph, but the book was published two years after the article, so I assume the book has more and later information. By the way, I have a wonderful little 28 gauge Arrizabalaga that is assumed to be a Model 116, made in 1961. It is brand new, unengraved, case colored, fitted like a Purdey, wood to metal as good as I have ever seen. I don't know who the importer was, but he should have kept it up. What a great little gun. William Larkin Moore sold one exactly like mine a few years ago for $5000, after it was on his website for a very short time. I called him about it, but it was gone. Moore's gun and my gun were identical and would have made a great pair. Of course, yours it in a different universe. Congratulations.

Some of the earlier guns were not so great. Years ago a friend told me about one at collectors firearms here is Houston. I think it was 4000K. I hurried down the next day. The quality was not first rate like I expected to see. They know me there so I asked if I could removed the locks. Naturally I did. The locks in side were clearly marked aya.

There was a time that they made less than best quality guns and later decided to go upscale.

They also were well known for ''Soft Parts''. I don't know when they started to heat treat the internal parts
on their guns, or maybe they didn't. They may look nice on the outside, and if you don't shoot them much,
they will be ok.
