I saw some small chicks today in the grass when I was rolling up electric fence wire. Hens were calling in the soy beans. Plenty of bugs around for the young birds even though it’s dry conditions. We got a half inch of rain a few days ago and another quarter inch two nights ago. Crops are really looking quite good. Beans are thick and flowering while the corn is over my head sprouting ears. Weather service is predicting 1.25” Thursday with 2” at my home. Fingers crossed. Guys are getting ready for good days in the field and hanging out at my house! I’m installing some new stuff in the house that I’m excited about. I know the guys will like them also With a fine gun on his arm, a man becomes a sporting gentleman, both on the field and off.
