I have a 209 - wonderful gun.

Joe - Were did you find a Waterfowl Grulla? I would love to have one for heavier loads.

Wiredducker, sorry but I just saw your post. William Larkin Moore got it in last summer and when I saw it I had to buy it. Someone must have had it custom built as I've never seen anything like it (from Grulla). It's a 216 model with 28" IC/Mod barrels, flat filed rib, DT/BT/ugly flared PG (but boy does it handle well), 3" chambers (although I only shoot 2 3/4" shells in it...can't stand recoil), 1 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 15" (checkered butt), and weighs 7lb, 11 oz. Speaking of hinge pin balance (recent topic), it balances nearly 1" behind the pin, but you'd never know it swinging the gun; it just feels lively for the weight. WLM advertised it as a "Pigeon/Wildfowl" gun. Deadly on doves as well as ducks. Hope that helps!

I purchase a pre-owned 20 ga.Grulla 215 and am not sure what chokes it has, as I am new to shotgunning. On the barrel flats it says "CHOKE 14.7" with a "15.7" directly below. It says the same on both barrels. Can anyone tell me. . . ? Thanks

JayCee,

Just saw it. Been away from the Mac all day doing "honeydos" in prep for Thanksgiving company. Looks like a great price, but it is not the gun for me. I do appreciate the lead though.

And I am grateful for all the member feedback. I've decided to follow Douglass' advice to get properly "fitted" and order one built to my specs. Maybe I'll make a trip to Spain!

As anyone seen their double rifles? They look nice enough on their site.
