I picked up my Valmet 412S today and it's a real beauty. 30" barrels and the "Sporting" style stock. It shows no indication of ever being fired.

Now I need a little help. I'd like to shorten the Ejector springs and I can't figure out how to get the ejectors out. I figured out I can slide the stainless spring cover back and expose the ejectors, but that's as far as I've gotten. The springs are very hard to push in and the ejectors don't seem to just push in and twist out like a Beretta ejector.

Can anyone explain how to remove the ejectors so I can shorten the springs?
