Now in the Edwardian years shooters would venture out to the estates and stay for a month or longer. They would shoot unheard of amount of birds on a daily shoot and that would go on for days.
So yes the "Best" guns did hold up to a lot of shooting. Now there were shooters that had pairs, trio's and quartets as well.
