Here ya go, Ted…

“Slate trucks are manufactured in Warsaw, Indiana, USA.
Slate Auto, an American electric vehicle startup, produces its trucks at a facility in Warsaw, Indiana, a site previously used by LSC Communications as a printing plant until 2023.”

I think I’m going to hedge my bet and hope the REO truck website turns out to be a real thing, instead of the vaporware thing it looks to be, at the moment.

Electric? It’s six hours to Lake of the Woods county. Your Prius could maybe do it, but, an EV might need to be charged, twice.

Best,
Ted

The F150 can do it towing 6500 lbs. The only stop would be for me and the dog to pee.

The beauty may only be in the eye of the beholder, but the practicality is undeniable.

Around 2000, when a new 4WD pickup was a mere $30,000 or so, a friend bought a loaded 4WD Silverado. I stopped by to see it, and he said, " Let's take a ride."

We went to a local farm, because he needed some hay bales for archery hunting target practice He paid for the hay, and the farmer and I each grabbed a bale and went to toss them in the bed. My buddy nearly had a heart attack, and yelled to stop us. He then went into the back seat to get a small tarp to protect the shiny new bed from the hay bales.

I said, "I don't see you driving this truck on any logging roads." ,and he said, "Not for a long time."

That kinda defeats the purpose of buying a truck.
