Next stop is for Atlantic salmon on the fly.



We did that on the Ponoy River on an exploratory trip in 1990. With Stu Apte, Gary Loomis and Tom Morgan, we fished the river to find the best fishing spots for guided trips in the following years. We caught quite a few Atlantic salmon and even more grayling


The most memorable part was surviving the flights on Aeroflot helicopters…
