The ClayHunt VR simulator has just added a drone defence scenario. Hopefully, the practice it provides will enable some to survive who might otherwise perish.

Ukrainian 14 year old gamer invents shotgun shells firing nets. . .new last resort anti-drone technology. Worth a look.

The game is a very good simulator for off season clay shooting.

Youtube takeoff of 3 B-1 bombers from Lakenheath, UK. What strikes you about this video? Highway running right by the base, spectators taking pictures, Several B-52's in the background sitting totally unprotected. No provision for drone defense; a kid could fly something into those planes and this is 4.5 years after the beginning of real drone warfare.

Wonder how the B-2 base in Missouri is protected - if at all. Hopefully our military planners are working on this. Whole Ukrainian towns now live under nets:

Excuse me but the B-1 is the baddest shaped bomber ever - I remember one doing a barrel roll over Damascus in 2003 and the CNN commentator thinking it was an F-14. I had a Vietnam buddy who actually built and mated the wings for that machine. . .they were a foot thick of mostly armor.

Good looking airplane for sure. Fun watching them at Ellsworth. Getting replaced by the B-21.
Wash rack is only $81 million.

Not bad considering a 288 GTO sold for $6.825 million on BaT today.

I think Ted is considering moving down that away. Now that he’s retired he can sit out there in a lawn chair with a cooler of PBR’s and blast anything that looks scetchy with his Mossberg.

Thanks, Rhoads! Last day of work, tomorrow (payday!) Checking out Rapid City, SD later this month. Missouri, well, maybe. I’ll be in shorts until January, dude, deal with it.

Sorry to disappoint you, but, the only Mossberg left is the .410 that I bought for the kid and the Mrs to use for gun safety training. Ain’t been touched since. jOe would be proud. The kid has a 12. Wish I shot it as well as he does.

Hey, I think the B2 Spirit, with its TWO massive ordinance penetrators is the most badass plane:

Not looking for work, so to speak, but, shouldn’t the Air Force find qualified security for the base? Maybe a guy who got through basic, like the other 95% of them that try that?

Best,
Ted
