Yes, harry......a decent 20 gauge Model 21 would be hard to pick up for $4000.00 now days. I have two 20 gauge Model 21s, now. They are climbing up close to ten grand for just a field grade and his Parker would be about the same price of a 20 gauge Model 21. Now if you are thinking about a nice side by side for about half the price of a Model 21, you can pick up a really nice 20 gauge BSS for around $2500.00 to $3000.00 in these parts. The only upland game friendly BSS are SLE versions which carry big premium over 12ga guns which sell for > $3000.
The Winchester 21 priced themselves out of the market, I would rather spend that money on smaller gauge Parker.
As someone suggested $8000 is possible downpayment on nice classic double, however, used (custum-made for someone else) stuff that costs > $100000 is nuts.
