The only Parker I ever owned was one that had the barrels cut down to 18 inches. So I have never really owned a nice one, although I I've been tempted to buy one many times over the years. I know they are great guns. But, I guess it is probably too late to buy one now....

And it seems to me that all of this discussion concerning whether this 26" barreled 20 ga. Parker GHE is worth buying for $8000.00 depends a lot on the actual condition. The high collector demand for small bore Parkers has driven a lot of owners to have them restored or refinished, and sometimes those restorations can be hard for many buyers to detect. At very least, any question concerning approximate value here ought to include a number of high resolution photos.
