Dennis Potter passed away early this morning. Many of you here know of his reputation as being the gunsmith's gunsmith. He taught gunsmithing classes for years that many of today's more prominent gunsmiths across the US took for training. He was a good friend. Words are totally inadequate. My heart hurts...................

He was a legend, I learned an incredible amount from him. Beyond his skills as a craftsman and a teacher, Dennis was as fine of a man as you will meet. I will miss him and be forever grateful for all I learned from him. A truly wonderful man in every sense of the word. Godspeed Dennis.

Dennis was a good man and extremely talented to boot.
He has been with us here on the DoubleGun BBS since December 2001 member #12...a constant supporter of the BBS.
He will be missed.

A gentleman for sure. For over three decades Dennis helped me with gun problems. His work was always the best, no matter what unusual problems might come up. Am not sure who can take his place.
