You know Stan, you're completely correct, but we've been through this before and nothing's going to change. Hey, I've got a great idea, let's start an off topic thread mucking up the board to complain about someone else's posts who I think are mucking up the board. Yeah, that'll fix everything.
Not what's happening. Backing the board bully into a corner and either making him put his money where his mouth is, or letting him show everyone he doesn't have the personal integrity to stand behind his words is what's going on.
At this point, it's all the 2nd one, none of the first one.
The problem is in three parts.
1) you have long-standing personality disputes that continue to simmer, annoying some people
Nope. I'd never heard of "keith" before a few months ago...unless he had a different name in the past.
2) you have the self thought smartest guy in the room who wants to be board policeman
Not at all. Do yourself a favor, and don't ascribe the reasons you'd do things to being the reasons others do them. It never turns out well.

Yep, but it is what it is.
Part 1 gives part 2 a windmill to tilt at, a cause to be championed for the benefit of us peasants, hooray we're saved. Part 3 gives part 2 room to operate, you can see how that works.
You'd be right...only if your evaluation parts 1 and 2 were right. It's not, so you're not.
It would be nice if Dave would start a Q&A thread and we could find out exactly what his vision is for this forum. But I don't think that is in the cards. Or he could appoint a moderator that would manage his vision for this forum, but that doesn't seem to be in the cards either. Which means the guy who knows what's best for everybody will continue on until somebody gives up and walks away.

Dave's not going to do any of that, and I certainly don't know what's best for everybody, but I'll continue trigger "keith" into showing us who and what he is until it bores me, then I'll block him. Easy peasy.
