Stanton, I read almost everything you write - because it is knowledgeable, literate, and has a down-home poetic quality to it. And you have helped me on several occasions - I'm thinking of the ramrod saga. If you like what this man posts - that is fine. But the bottom line is there are 7 locked threads below because of him.
My first experience with this stuff was in 2018 when I was shepherding through a French-English, English-French gun term dictionary; he jumped into it and began insulting people and called it OT. Things went downhill from there. His posts are still up for all to see. And even if he contributed a couple of things of interest over the years, the disgraceful way he conducts himself in public is not adult and does not add anything but vitriol. A spade has to be called a spade once patience runs out.
My last word - promise (and Stanton we can disagree on this).
Argo44, I just looked at every Post submitted in your English-French translator or dictionary. I made exactly two Posts in that entire thread, and neither one called it OT. I did mention some off-topic Thread diversions made by others, and the fact that some of our Thread Police didn't comment. And later, I also tried to add something positive with this Post:

Now, please give us the titles of each of the 7 Threads you feel are locked because of me. Then tell us exactly how you can say I was responsible for each or any of them getting locked. Are you trying to tell us the mere fact that I made a Post in a Thread that was subsequently locked is proof that I was responsible... especially when I was not the last to Post, and Dave has me subject to Moderation. That means he could have simply discarded or rejected any offensive Post I made, and kept the Thread alive.
I've made numerous Posts in this Thread. I have not said any kind things to my dishonest detractors, yet Dave hasn't locked this yet. Explain that. I do expect he will lock this, but am hopeful he reads it and pays attention to the utter bullshit you and your pals have Posted. I don't care if he has second thoughts about me, but I'm hopeful he sees your lies, and remembers this shit-show the next time a campaign to ban me or someone else is launched.

Stan gave you the benefit of doubt that you would intentionally Post something you know isn't true just to disparage someone you dislike. Sorry to disagree, but Stan was being far too kind. I need only to point to the way you tarred Ed as a cheat when you bought a gun from him that turned out to have thin barrels... according to you. We don't know if that is true at all at this point. You acted like he knowingly sold you a dangerous gun, and intentionally hid the alleged defect. You neglected to mention that Ed had no wall thickness measuring tools, you bought it without asking, and Ed offered to refund your money. You kept the gun and gave it to your daughter-in-law. Are you the kind of person who would give your daughter-in-law a dangerous gun? Why didn't you tell us Ed had offered you a refund?
I've mentioned this to you a few times, but you keep repeating it because you really enjoy dishonestly piling on Ed. You loved hurling insults at jOe too, lots of them, and mocked the intelligence of the entire state of Tennessee just to personally attack him. You cried like a baby when LeFusil and I questioned conjecture presented as facts in your Reilly Thread. And you have accused others of ruining this DoubleGun forum with off-topic Threads you do not approve of, while posting literally dozens yourself.
And if History is any indicator, you will run away from this, and return later with more lies. You are a sick man. I gave you some leeway because I didn't know what sort of PTSD you might be suffering... but you have gone too far.
