Re bands.
Not really possible or necessary to see bands in the air. Shooting pigeons you are bound to get the occasional homer. The issue here is is most or all are banded. When that was clearly the case it might be a good idea to not post it on the net.
I’m not defending the guys who get upset about a few homers being shot and it’s certainly not illegal. The concern is that someone sees it and gets really mad at the shooter. Those pigeon racers are like coon hunters and think they can send their dogs or pigeons anywhere they want and you are supposed to like it.
This just looks like it has the possibility of an unpleasant confrontation.
Re: Duck bands. They are wild not someone’s livestock. Homers are more like ear tagged cattle.
