I am trying to identify if my Uggie is a Parker-Hale import to the UK, and/or the model number. It is a 12-28" Box. S1=1974
I see similar models out there, but they don't have the engraved fences.

I can not seem to get the image to display. I also don't want to violate the rules here... Admin, LMK if I need to change this.

If it's an Uggie sold by Parker Hale, it'll say that on the tops of the barrels, or on the rib.

As to model numbers, guns made for companies like Parker Hale didn't often fit other models made by Spanish makers exactly as the companies buying them usually wanted specific things.

The image won't display because the image link doesn't end in a file type the board software recognizes.

I can't tell from the picture if that's an ejector gun or not, but it's a basic Uggie boxlock

Fixed it for you:

The Parker Hale Uggys imported in the mid 1970s looked just like that. Lots of 26 inch barrels. That was the gospel preached in that era.

Best,
Ted

I have some Parker-Hale catalogues of about that vintage.

Is your gun an ejector or non-ejector?

Does it have chopper lump barrels?

I submitted a picture to the current Ugartechea company, and they responded by saying it was a Parker Hale, model 30E.
It does not say Parker Hale anywhere, but I did read that at one point they stopped adding the Parker Hale name to them.
It is an ejector model. The Model 30s I see have different engraving, so I am still not sure if that is correct. TY

I would love to see a catalog from around 1974 with it.

Thank you, Ted. Does it have to be a JPG?

You need to utilize a hosting service.

The big ones are complying with whatever anti free speech edicts are coming down the pipe in Europe, but, so far, IBB picture hosting is allowing them to see our pictures. To me, it is important that the Brits who hang around here, especially, get to see what we are talking about, their input is invaluable. Their government would seem to disagree.

Not sure how long this situation will endure.

Best,
Ted

IMGBOX which was working this side of the pond, unlike Imgur which I used before, crashed a few weeks ago although their website says that they are working hard to restore service.

I will try IBB.

zumasporting, in my experience Ugartechea ejector models tend to have chopper lump barrels, whilst my plain 20 bore BLNE does not (but is still a nice little gun).

With chopper lump barrels the very fine hair-line joint can usually be seen running longitudinally along the back, base and front of each lump.

Well, ImgBb works to the extent of providing a link rather than a picture displayed directly on the post. (Please feel free to do your magic, Ted).

The picture, which I found online when Googling GECO hammer 16 bore guns, is not an Ugarteches but a GECO - probably restocked - on sale in Estonian. I thought it was rather nicely done as these things go.
