All too soon?

I understand how years fly by now, but the trick is to cherish every moment, every day, every season.

When it's summer, and while I'm thoroughly enjoying it, I look forward to fall. When it's fall I look forward to winter. When it's winter I look forward to spring, and when it's spring I look forward to summer, and over again.

Life isn't ever going to be perfect. What I want, what I desire to attain to, is to be content with whatever state I'm in, in want or in plenty, whether in comfort or pain, whether in youth or in age.

Whatever I have, it is enough. All of you have contributed to that, each in your own way.

Beautifully stated. I Spent several hours yesterday slipping through the National Forest in Jasper co with my 16ga Sterlingworth. I managed to rake 3 out of the tops of some 60ft Hickorys but I would have enjoyed the day even if I didn't bring any home. Not to brag but my superpower is finding comfortable logs with a back rest to watch the woods.
