In the October 1909 National Sportsman there is an article by Sereck R. Fox extolling the virtues of a gun he had made with 2 1/4 inch drop-at-comb and 4 1/4 inch drop-at-heel with a 15-inch length-of-pull. There is also a follow up article by Sereck in the April 1910 issue saying that others have taken up his idea and ordered such guns. His gun shown is a C-Grade Ansley H. Fox with a capped full pistol grip.

I just had mine done like that to raise the drop, I've never seen one done to drop it further.

The Lefever "C" grade 12b.came to me after the "Job had been done". I tried to locate the original"Cut-Off", but had gone into the wood stove several years before.I have since cut the "New Block" off of the Original part of the stock, corrected the Joint angle so that its Comb- 1.1/2"-Heel of Comb 2". It will make a Fine shooter..cc

Uh, Mike, did you have to post a picture of my sister on the internet? Couldn't you have left her out of it?
