I have to recognise that I love the look and style of an old Deeley Latch (Anson & Deeley), much used 100 years ago.

Nowadays it is rare to see them.

I have an express that maybe I change the stock and was thinking in taking the opportunity that new wood would be used also in the foreend, to change the normal push button style and install a Deeley latch.

Wanted to know if someone has attempted such transformation

Left is a 1909 paradox Holland along with a modern Arrieta shotgun. In this case a shotgun or. Double rifle makes no difference, the issue is the same, making new foreend wood and adapting mech to fit the deeley latch
