Last month during a family vacation along the northern border we (young kids, parents, grandparents) piled into a mini van for a day visit to the Canadian side. All of the passports and birth certificates were in order and the immigration interaction on the Canadian side began normally. After requiring the windows to be rolled down and sunglasses removed the agent asked the driver, “Do you have any guns in the vehicle?” The driver has lived his entire life in the area and had made this same trip countless times. He’d never been asked this before and was a bit surprised. He answered truthfully, “No.” From there the line of questioning became more disconcerting. “Do you have any guns at home?” “It is illegal to bring guns into Canada.” “What kind of guns do you have at home?” “When was the last time you shot them?” “When was the last time you had guns in your car?” “If you have a gun in the car we can hold it for you until you leave.” “If we inspect your vehicle and find a gun you WILL be arrested.”
Interspersed through this interaction, the agent prefaced some queries with, “This is not a trick question …”
The visit occurred in the time window after the breakdown of US-Canada trade talks and before Lake America and has prompted several more conversations as to, “What was that all about?” Nothing that we can think of would cause anyone to think that we were anything other than three generations of a “plain vanilla” family. None of the boys even had a camo cap on. Where should the driver/where would you have “drawn the line”, declined to answer, and turned around and come back to the US (if that would have even been permitted without an inspection)?

If I had been alone I would have refused as soon as the conversation went bad. But, with a family counting on me I would have sucked it up and tried my best to be congenial.
I WOULD have asked why what I have and what I do at home concerning guns is of concern. If he had denied access to Canada because of that, so be it.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

It isn’t clear if you are speaking about the Canadian agents, or, if this started on the US side of the border. If it was the US agents, they were probably trying to keep you out of trouble. If it was the Canadian guys, I’d guess they were attempting a “gotcha”, with a strip search and dismantling the vehicle.
There’s revenue in them there minivans, buster. It happens all the time.
When my son was about 6, we had a meeting with his doctor. After the physical, the doctor brought out the AMA approved antigun script, and proceeded to start asking my son questions. “Are there guns in your home”? My boy looked at me, as we had practiced this for a few years. “Tell him, Punk”, I said, with a slight smile. The boy looked at the doctor and said “My dad has guns stacked like cordwood, in our house”. The doc asked him if he felt safe. The boy said “My dad’s magazines in the handguns should all be higher capacity than they are. I’d feel safer if he had a few more around, too. About every 5 feet is just right. I like the autoloaders cocked and locked, but, dad is old school, he’s a revolver guy”.
The doc said “Well, we can stop with this”, put the script away, and sent us on our way. He was a good doctor, but was completely beholden to the AMA and the twisted logic they subscribe to.
We had ice cream on the way home. At 10:30AM in the morning. I asked the boy not to tell mom.
He never did.
Best, Ted

Tell them you are hunting draft dodgers from every American war back to and including the American revolution and need guns to do it effectively.

A friend and I are flying to Saskatchewan in two weeks for waterfowl hunting and will be bringing guns, with the correct Canadian form, of course. I have been concerned that the current political situation might complicate what should be a straightforward transaction at the airport, and this report does nothing to set my mind at ease.

Customs guys all seem to have a Napoleonic complex, however. All? 99.73% of the ones I’ve dealt with are nothing but professional. Maybe it’s you. Be super useless if they catch you with a spent round of .22 ammunition in a car with US plates on. I’m not in the habit of shooting a .22 in my car so I should be good. _______________________________ Michigan has a cool sesquicentennial plate. Re-issue of the bicentennial plate. A few guys at Port of Minneapolis were of the belief that it was up to them to stop every legal importation from Europe. Even my BATF guy said they were short on social skills.
Not in the habit of picking up your spent ammunition, would be my guess.

I cross the border pretty regularly in Port Huron, and then in Niagara Falls.
There is an answer to the change in query, and it has to do with administrative changes.
My best recommendation would be that the next time you are at the border ask them how come they are doing the lengthier interrogations.
They will tell you.
It is a pretty common question for them.

The current political climate and friction resulting from Canada's unwillingness to engage in fair trade with the U.S. has nothing to do with this. Canadian Customs has a long history of subjecting U.S. citizens to harassment, questioning, and secondary searches if they suspect you are a gun owner. Having an NRA hat, decal, or bumper sticker will often trigger intense scrutiny, as will the presence of hunting gear, camouflage hats, ammo boxes, or anything suggesting you are a gun owner.
It isn't at all surprising to hear the OP witnessed this behavior. It probably isn't universal among all Canadian Border Agents, but it's nothing new. Simply being uncooperative probably wouldn't make the situation any better. I guess you have to decide how important it is to visit Canada.
There shouldn't be any real problem if you fill out the Non-Resident Firearms Declaration Form, give it to the Officer immediately, and declare everything legally. But the TDS folks who wish to blame Trump for everything and anything will not hesitate to blame Trump for Canada's long anti-gun history... brought to Canadians and U.S. Citizens alike by the anti-gun Liberal Left. Sadly, we can't vote against anti-gun Canada politicians, but some of us use our brains and vote against them here... because we are able to connect the dots.

I’ve crossed the border countless times. On the whole, agents on both sides are humourless. Not surprising, given Trump’s aggressive distaste for all things Canadian, that the “elbows up” stupidity has spread from low information Canadian voters to low information Canadian border agents. Justified or not, the antagonism eventual will get results.
Depending on where you cross, border agents know they get a good number of American travellers who are stunned to find out that when in a different country, American laws no longer apply. Go figure. 🤣
BTW, for most of you who rarely cross by land, you don’t interact with the border agents from the country you are LEAVING unless you make a point of stopping at their offices and going in. When I leave the US at Port Huron it is essentially an interstate hwy that leads onto a bridge. At the far side the bridge is Canada Customs. It’s the same in reverse.

This is not new. Son crossed into Canada heading to Alaska with the maritime seaway shut down and with kayaks on roof of truck during the heart of Covid in June 2020. The BC Canadian border guards questioned him in the same way - "do you have guns? Do you have guns at home?" (and then gave him 4 days to drive from the Canadian border to Alaska - 1,700 miles - grueling - then at the BC-Yukon border they gave him 24 hours to get out of Yukon - drove 16 straight hours to make the deadline - see below). https://doublegunshop.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=573792&page=1However, the BC/Washington State border has been contentious since the attempted space-needle bombing 30 years ago; Canada let in virtually the entire Milan, Italy mosque after it was raided in 1994. It had been supporting the Islamic battalion fighting in Bosnia and the information from the Italian raid was one of the first indications of the extent of the spread of extremism - fighters going from Afghanistan, to Chechnya, then to Bosnia - with spill overs into Jordan (and of course by this time Bin Ladin was in Khartoum - still a virtual unknown). Vancouver subsequently became known as "Milan West." However, 5 months later returning from Alaska crossing into Yukon, with his 870 in the truck this time, he spoke French to the border guard, told them about the Remington and was just waved through. So it looks like it's location specific. ![[Linked Image from jpgbox.com]](https://www.jpgbox.com/jpg/76182_600x400.jpg)

More than likely it's person specific, too. Give some people a uniform, badge and a vehicle with flashing lights and they think they are "God". If they're youngish it can be even worse.
Friend recently had a run-in with the State Patrol that ended badly. He owns a tree removal business and specializes in hard-to-remove trees in yards, being licensed, bonded and insured. After a day's work he was heading home with his crew in a couple of his trucks when he was stopped for some reason by the South Carolina State Patrol. One of his employees was drinking a beer, but he was not. He was harassed by the SP and told to submit to a breath-alyzer test. He was angry and refused, after repeatedly telling the officer he was not drinking, whereupon he was taken to a facility where he took the breath-alyzer test and blew a 0.00. Trooper was surprised and embarrassed and took my friend's licenses. He was told he has to do 20 hours of community service to get them back. He has retained a lawyer. I hope he sues, and wins.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

From Microsoft bing ai search… “In South Carolina, an open container of alcohol is defined as any container that has been opened, had its seal broken, or a portion of its contents removed, and which contains any amount of alcoholic beverage. This includes not only bottles or cans of alcohol that have been opened, but also cups, flasks, or any other type of container that holds alcohol and is not fully sealed or closed. It is important to note that having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, even if the driver is not actively drinking from it, is a violation of South Carolina’s open container laws. Additionally, it is illegal for passengers in a vehicle to possess open containers of alcohol, not just the driver. This means that all passengers in a vehicle are prohibited from having open containers of alcohol in their possession while the vehicle is in operation.” ______________________________ The New South

Stanton, driving old 301 south, by any chance do you remember Ludowici, Georgia? I think it was Lester Maddox who finally busted that speed trap. Unfortunately it just transferred south to Baldwin, then to Waldo, Florida. The south could be a pretty difficult place back then. (Waldo fired its 6 man police force about 5 years ago since its sole function was to fund itself via tickets).

Just got to the north country tonight (after a lovely 2-day drive across the "fruited plains").
I guess I won't be doing any shopping at Rainy River this year. I used to really like the big liquor store over there.
Darn shame.
I'm sure Canvasback is right, Americans can be serious blockheads (no doubt!) but this trouble with our northern neighbor is disheartening for me. I'm sure there's alot about it I don't know (I actually work at not knowing too-much these days) but... I hate how this has become so-ugly so-fast. Maybe it was inevitable with the way our respective governments have evolved but it makes me rather sad to think about it all.
I sure hope it doesn't get any worse.

Not new. See the link above from 2020. Here is an excerpt:
Son talked repeatedly to the Canadian immigration service before departing and was told that entry was entirely up to the individual immigration office/officer he would deal with. He absolutely had to be in Alaska by mid-June. The only way to get his gear there was to transit BC and Yukon....no other way to go without the maritime highway. So to be on the safe side, he left the shotgun at home...not wanting to provoke. They got provoked anyway. (edit: they tore the truck apart then made him drive 40 miles back to the border to retrieve his passport). He was the only person trying to cross the border at that time so maybe they were just bored.
Anyway, everybody he saw on the route up-country was carrying so it wasn't necessarily an anti-gun thing .... just a problem with the immigration service. He made it but the race through Yukon with a fully loaded truck was sort of a cannon-ball run.

I sure hope it doesn't get any worse. The Canadian government has just been responding to ours, and there is no sign that anything is getting any better. Lake America indeed.

Plenty of contentious issues. See above. Canada is not innocent. But not the least of these issues is "let the USA handle our defense." "We don't need an army or navy but can skewer them whenever we want." I'm thinking of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division which took Juno Beach on D-Day. The mentality of Canada at that time was totally different.
And here is a comment totally off topic - "Mentality." Military capability can be equated to logistics, manufacturing capacity, engineering, power generation, conscription, organization, technology development, etc. But most of all it has to do with a mentality - can you envisage having to go to war? Western Europe after the fall of the Wall cannot. Neither can Canada. They all absconded and deferred to us (with sneering condescension - while sheltering under a nuclear umbrella funded by US taxpayers).
Can this continue? If Putin decides to claim Baffin Island, what will Canada do? Ukraine learned the hard way. Kuwait as well. Taiwan may be in the cross hairs. But Canada is secure in its delusion and the USA is now the bad guy.
Personally I like "Lake Ohio" But you understand that is a bargaining tactic right out of Queen's NYC? I once had to attend a course in "bargaining." - not like I hadn't haggled for carpets and guns - and one of the principles, whether bargaining on the price of socks or real estate is to say - "We aren't on the same planet". .and make some outrageous counter offer - but never ever get mad and walk away. (This is sort of like the old: "So you don't want to sleep with me? Is that for just tonight?")

Additionally, it is illegal for passengers in a vehicle to possess open containers of alcohol, not just the driver. This means that all passengers in a vehicle are prohibited from having open containers of alcohol in their possession while the vehicle is in operation.” ______________________________ The New South Thanks, Lonny. That explains it. GA probably has a very similar law. Oh yes, I remember Ludowici , and it's well deserved reputation, very well.
May God bless America and those who defend her.

Maybe it was inevitable with the way our respective governments have evolved but it makes me rather sad to think about it all.
I sure hope it doesn't get any worse. The Canadian government has just been responding to ours, and there is no sign that anything is getting any better. Lake America indeed. Uh huh. Theses countries are responding to our government, as well. Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay, and Peru. Not a single one of them was a benefactor of the Marshal Plan, either. Donald Trump pokes them in the ribs with a temporary name change to Lake Ontario. If Vlad decides he wants Baffin Island, what the hell is Canada going to do about it? Taiwan is better prepared than Canada is. Best, Ted ____________________________________________________________________ Hey, Lonny, the Canadian military needs you. And, that is both hilarious and sad, at the same time.

Very much not new. I was on a family vacation when I was much younger and went Canada, maybe late 1970's or early 1980's and my father had a shotgun in the trunk because we were camping. Canadian border patrol required him to surrender it, we had planned to re-enter the US at another location, but had to go back to the original location to retrieve the shotgun.
Perhaps present circumstances have aggravated things or perhaps the Canadians are just tired of obnoxious Americans. We, as a country, are not necessarily viewed positively when we go to other countries. It was like that well before Trump and will be like that long after Trump is gone. The MSM of other countries are as bad or worse than the US MSM.
On edit: I'm not sure how I would have reacted, some of the questions CBP is entitled to know and others like how many guns and what kind I have at home is none of their damn business. I also recognize that CBP may be required to ask some of those questions because of orders from above.

Tell them you are hunting draft dodgers from every American war back to and including the American revolution and need guns to do it effectively. You can start in Washington DC at what's left of the White House

"I am a firearms dealer in the USA and have hundreds of all kinds of firearms from single shot pistols to NFA items and everything in between."
Are you looking for something in particular? Funny, but those elbozos up’ers are a humorless lot and tend to get triggered quite easily. And Ted said my Canadian passport was useless. _______________________________ 🇺🇸 That border agent probably should have targeted someone wearing a MAGA hat and Babylon Bee gear. 🇨🇦 I have not traveled to Canada or the UK in five-ish years, but have had similar conversations in both countries. Not smart ass versions like my sarcasm here, but have discussed guns and gun ownership.

Back when I worked for a living, I can recall an interview with a US customs agent who was curious (and not in a good way) about the footwear samples I had with me. These are typically half pairs in women's size 6 and men's size 9. I had maybe 24 half pairs in what was obviously a purpose made sample case for shoes. My business cards indicated clearly I was in the wholesale footwear trade. He accused me of planning to bring the matching half pairs down with me on my next trip so I could match them up and get away without paying whatever the appropriate duty rate was at the time. Had I actually been planning to do that, I might have scammed my way to a windfall of $120. Could have retired then and there! I think Lloyd and Stan have it right. Put a uniform on someone and it goes to some of their heads. On both sides of the border. That said, I have little sympathy for those who assume because it's legal in one country, it's legal in another. When I travel to the US I make of point of trying to be aware of the differences in the laws. The other side of the coin is traveling to Nebraska to hunt with a car load of vintage doubles with me and having a very enthusiastic US agent ask me why I was going to Nebraska when there was great hunting right there in Michigan. And peppered me with questions about vintage shotguns. I arrive at border crossing with my paperwork perfectly in order often on a clip board (hunting licenses, dog rabies info etc), I immediately roll all the windows down, winter or summer, and if it's night time, turn on the interior light. I declare everything, every time. I find when I behave like that, the agents are polite, often friendly and move me through. They are in the business of making snap judgements based on physical appearances and behaviors. I make it easy for them to make the right decision. No attitude, just organized and respectful.

I sure hope it doesn't get any worse. The Canadian government has just been responding to ours, and there is no sign that anything is getting any better. Lake America indeed. Our Pro-2nd Amendment President Donald Trump doesn't see it that way. He wouldn't have imposed Tariffs on Canadian products if they were engaging in Free and Fair Trade with us. Canada got so used to taking advantage of us that they are incensed by Trump attempting to level the playing field. Trump just got another win by threatening to ban imports of Bombardier Jets from Canada unless they stopped delaying certification of Gulfstream Jets from the U.S. Our Trump haters with TDS see things like this as a reason to blame Trump for current trade tensions. Of course, they are used to just rolling over when their Democrat politicians pass more and more anti-gun laws, so they expect Trump to act like a whipped puppy as well. And we won't see LGF complaining about all of the name changing of Military bases, Sports Teams, and products like Aunt Jemima syrup that was done by the Lunatic Left he is aligned with.

A few guys at Port of Minneapolis were of the belief that it was up to them to stop every legal importation from Europe. Even my BATF guy said they were short on social skills.
Not in the habit of picking up your spent ammunition, would be my guess.
Best, Ted

Is that for just tonight?") Gene, I feel like I'm one of the few Canadians who understands this......that we have left our defense to the Americans which enabled us to spend our tax dollars in other, much more useless ways. I like that Trump is calling the country (and Europe) to task on this subject. I find the attitude of many Canadians, particularly in the East, that they are somehow superior to Americans and look down on them, is downright disgusting. This sense of superiority is not a new thing.....it's not a Trump thing. It goes back at least to the 1960s and has been pushed by the arts, media, university and civil service crowd. You know, the ones who don't need to make a payroll or worry about losing their jobs. And as someone who spent a lot of my career in sale and marketing, Trump's behavior is very familiar to me. In a way that it just is not for so many others on both sides of the border. I think Carney purposely screwed the deal in order to gain electoral popularity up here, especially in Quebec, Ontario and BC. But this passing off of our defense to the US was done with the full and complicit knowledge of the American government. The American government, the Trump government, signed the trade deals that had been in place. Those deals were hailed as "great for America" by Americans when they were signed. What you seem to forget or excuse completely is the complicitness of America in the stupid situation we all now find ourselves in.

Tell them you are hunting draft dodgers from every American war back to and including the American revolution and need guns to do it effectively. You can start in Washington DC at what's left of the White House Does everyone remember all the times Dr. Wanker made similar comments concerning anti-gun Democrat Bill Clinton, who avoided the Draft by getting several Student deferments during the Vietnam War. And then he pulled strings to join the ROTC after Nixon started the Draft Lottery. But then when Bill got a very high draft number, he reneged on his ROTC commitment. Dr. Wanker also didn't comment about the anti-gunner Barack Hussein Obama sending military personnel into harms way, even though Obama never served. Not even when Obama ordered the drone attack killing of a U.S. citizen without any due process whatsoever. And Dr. Wanker also forgot to comment about the anti-gunner Joe Biden getting 5 student draft deferments, and then a 1-Y exemption at a draft physical after he could not get any more deferments upon graduating law school. Actually, believe it or not, Dr. Wanker has no problem with anti-gun Democrat draft dodgers. But none of that is nearly as funny as trying to explain why these closet Democrat guys (and gals) who whine, cry, and complain about Politics in this forum think it's perfectly OK when they do it again and again and again...

International trade is not and never has been a zero-sum game. To consider it such and act on that is beyond stupid. It has not been a mystery for several centuries.

I think you handled this well. You showed your children how to face an unexpected problem with a government authoritarian. No loud noises, polite behavior, professional. People in law enforcement usually have no sense of humor while working. They really can’t when you consider the number and types of people they have to deal with everyday. Hopefully your children were left with a positive memory of a day with their family and not one of dad in handcuffs. As to why the border guards performed as they did, well who knows? Because all policemen are cast from the same ultra conservative mold? Very doubtful. I personally have stopped going to Canada. That is not a protest. I just don’t want the hassle. I can fish and hunt in the US and there are no border guards. If Canadians feel the same way about the US that’s fine. There will be less traffic in south Florida this winter.

International trade is not and never has been a zero-sum game. To consider it such and act on that is beyond stupid. It has not been a mystery for several centuries. This is partly true, and some countries have been able to slowly bleed their trading partners to death when the advantages are too extreme. So it is in no way stupid for Trump to act on our behalf to improve a massive foreign trade deficit. And the huge commitments by foreign companies to build plants and create jobs here in the U.S. prove it is already helping to keep a fair balance. This will also make us less dependent upon our adversaries and help national security. Under the old and stupid Trade deals, some consumers got cheaper goods, but at the expense of millions of U.S. manufacturing workers who lost jobs or had to settle for lower wages. Fewer taxpayers paying less in income taxes while Federal and State spending increased led to huge and unsustainable deficits. Trump was happy to renegotiate NAFTA during his first term, and signed the new agreement. But when he noticed that Canada and other countries were still doing end-runs to keep their unfair advantage, he wasn't dumb enough to say, "Well, I signed that and it didn't go far enough to protect our interests... so I'll just live with it." He will continue to tweak things rather than taking daily naps and falling down. Trump is acting in the interests of this country, and that will never make those with TDS happy. As the Mid-terms approach, we can expect all of our Closet Democrats to make a huge deal about 3.2% food inflation and $3.79 gas when they were totally silent about the Biden era massive increase to the M2 Money Supply that spiked inflation and eroded the value of every dollar by 20-25%. It made inflation adjusted gas and diesel prices much higher than they are now too. I am still wondering why Dr. Wanker and other Closet Democrats insist on moving a discussion about harassment of gun owners at the Canadian Border into the very Off-Topic Politics they always whine about??? At least we all know they have the integrity to not attempt to get anyone banned or censored for mentioning their hypocrisy! Well actually, they don't. On another forum I visit, they make it easy for dummies to spot sarcasm by putting the words in Purple.

[quote=keith $3.79 gas [/quote] The average cost of gas in America today is $4.22, a year ago it was $3.19$ https://gasprices.aaa.com/On the bright side, I hear gas is due to come down in price right after the midterms. We all want to see this four week operation known as Epic Failure end with our objectives achieved. What were those objectives again? Free transit in the Strait of Trump and lower gas prices right? Or was it to blast Iran's nuclear program back into the stone ages? Like we supposedly did during operation Midnight Hummer? More good news, Brent Crude tops 100$ a barrel again, stocks drop, the war(or isn't it a war?) continues, the debt balloons at an unprecedented rate and there is not an end in sight. So much winning......

... the Biden era massive increase to the M2 Money Supply that spiked inflation and eroded the value of every dollar by 20-25%. It made inflation adjusted gas and diesel prices much higher than they are now too. Closer to 40%. I agree, but try explain that to Democrat Socialist Princess Stevie, who never once complained about Bidenflation, and who cannot grasp the fact that gas is still cheaper than it was under the anti-gun Democrat Joe Biden when adjusted for that massive inflation. And we sure didn't see Comrade Princess Stevie whining about his/her favored anti-gun Democrat Joe Biden when Brent Crude prices reached $116.23 in May of 2022. That was about the time that average U.S. gas prices hit $5.016 per gallon.... more than double what it was when Biden and Democrats stole the 2020 election. Talk about winning! The Princess also didn't mention that Ukraine drone attacks on a couple Russian refineries contributed a great deal to the recent spike in Diesel fuel prices.... because it's all about that Trump Derangement Syndrome and support for anti-gun Democrats. I put gas in my truck today for $3.79 per gallon, and GasBuddy shows another station nearby selling regular for $3.69. But of course, I bought my gas in a Red state. I also don't mind paying a little more for gas for the time being, because we have been threatened by Iran for 47 years. I've lost count of the number of times oil prices have spiked due to threats from Iran. We finally have a President with the stones to do something about it.

Karen, It was Trump who tried, and failed to steal the 2020 election, he should have been jailed for it too.
President with the stones? It's Incredible how Trump overcame a hereditary case of crippling bone spurs to send other men's children to war. The world has never seen such bravery, everybody is talking about it.
I'll happily vote Democratic this year....The GOP doesn't deserve a single vote after the mess this administration has made.

Gee, you mean that smack in the middle of the Covid crisis demand was lower and the price of gas followed.....what a surprise. The next thing we will learn is that when supply chains are disrupted for years on end(China) inflation rises.
Shocking Craig....just shocking.

Many Canadians have negative opinion of the US just like most people in rest of the 🌎. In < 2 years our Great Leader has destroyed what took decades to establish. Something positive, if Republicans pick up seats in next election every adult American will receive "🎁" of $5000. I can hardly wait, socialism 👶! 👍 👍

Gee, you mean that smack in the middle of the Covid crisis demand was lower and the price of gas followed.....what a surprise. The next thing we will learn is that when supply chains are disrupted for years on end(China) inflation rises.
Shocking Craig....just shocking. Princess Stevie, it doesn't take much intelligence to understand that much lower demand normally leads to LOWER prices... not JOE BIDEN'S ALL TIME RECORD HIGH GAS PRICES. But tell us more about those Supply Chains that were disrupted when the Democrats all but shut down the economy. Then we had less supply, accompanied by increased demand, caused by free money in the form of stimulus checks which increased the Deficit, along with a huge increase in the M2 money supply... which led to the huge Biden Inflation you TDS Democrats never want to even mention. Let's not forget that shutting down a lot of offshore Oil Drilling, reduced drilling permits on Federal land, and blocking the Keystone Pipeline also helped us get to those record gas prices. They would have been even higher, but the incompetent Democrat Biden & Co. raided and drained our Strategic Oil Reserve which Trump had wisely filled during his first term when prices were low. That Oil Reserve was intended for National Security, not as vehicle for Democrats to lower gas prices right before the 2022 mid-term election. When I see that much intentional incompetence, it begins to look more like sabotage of our country. And it is wonderful that you once again shared the fact that you not only lack that modest level of intelligence to understand basic Supply and Demand, but are dumb enough to Post it in public for all to see. It also isn't at all surprising to see that your TDS has you carrying the Democrat lie that Trump tried to steal the 2020 election. Rational people can easily see that Trump did nothing to steal even a single vote, and simply asking the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raspenberger to make certain all of his votes were properly counted is hardly a criminal matter. And that is why the Democrat's fake criminal charges on that went nowhere. On the other hand, it is well known that Democrat election officials in Georgia shut down vote counting, locked out election observers, and "found" a shit-ton of votes for Biden in the middle of the night. Nothing to see here says Princess Stevie as he/she covers his/her eyes. Recently, it has been shown that the number of ineligible and dead voters exceeds the margin of the Democrat steal. And that doesn't even include the Blue States that refuse to submit their voter rolls for inspection and removal of dead and ineligible voters. Then there's that little matter of roughly 20 million voters that showed up for Biden, and then they simply disappeared in 2024 when additional measure were taken to prevent fraud. Only an idiot would believe that Joe Biden received millions more votes than any candidate in history... especially considering his very poor performance in previous campaigns. Add in the Democrat's total fear of the SAVE Act to simply require that voters show I.D. Also add in the fact that all of the evidence from the Jan. 6th Select Committee was destroyed by the Democrats, and only an agenda driven fool would believe that Trump stole the election. I do indeed believe you will be proudly voting for anti-gun Democrats in future elections. The only thing that's changed is you are now openly admitting to voting for anti-gun Democrats. A gun owner voting for anti-gunners is simply more evidence of real low intelligence.

In < 2 years our Great Leader has destroyed what took decades to establish. Something positive, if Republicans pick up seats in next election every adult American will receive "🎁" of $5000. I can hardly wait, socialism 👶! 👍 👍 So just what has Our Great Leader Donald Trump destroyed Jagermeister, aside from Iran's Navy, Army, Air Force, economy, leadership, and nuclear enrichment program? Are you talking about him destroying unfair Trade Deals that led to the U.S. being taken advantage of and causing massive Trade Deficits? Are you talking about ending the decades long sweetheart deals that had U.S. Taxpayers doing the bulk of funding for NATO and the U.N.? Are you talking about Trump destroying USAID, which sent hundreds of billions of our tax dollars to NGO's that funded Democrat campaigns, Antifa and BLM riots, and dozens of other incredibly wasteful things like circumcisions in Africa? Are you talking about Trump destroying the Democrat scheme to illegally import and financially support tens of millions of illegal aliens at a cost of hundreds of billions of tax dollars? Are you talking about investigating and disrupting the massive amount of Fraud that led to Democrats, Somalians, and other illegals stealing $trillions$ from programs intended for child care, home health care, high speed rails systems never completed, etc.??? Funny how the Democrats who complain Trump isn't doing enough to lower the deficit are fighting tooth and nail and filing lawsuits to stop him from doing these things that would save taxpayers huge amounts of money. Are you talking about upsetting foreigners and illegal aliens who are being allowed to register to vote in our elections? Are you a non-citizen, and afraid you will no longer be able to vote here? Yeah, I could see how those things are highly upsetting to those who have been stealing money and elections for decades. Destroying those things is exactly what I voted for. If that means Canadians and other foreigners have a negative opinion of us, it is much better than them laughing at our expense. Oh, concerning the idea of adult Americans receiving a check... if you are a citizen, do you think that money would finally at long last help you to actually purchase a double shotgun??? Or will you be a tire-kicker until the day you die?

Karen, It was Trump who tried, and failed to steal the 2020 election, he should have been jailed for it too.
President with the stones? It's Incredible how Trump overcame a hereditary case of crippling bone spurs to send other men's children to war. The world has never seen such bravery, everybody is talking about it.
I'll happily vote Democratic this year....The GOP doesn't deserve a single vote after the mess this administration has made. As you should Steve. There are no karens anymore, this is the era of the marlon, and you know what they deserve.

Many guides and outfitters shill their hunts and fishing adventures in the US, there aren't enough Canadians in name only, who value those resources. Stop at any gas station, Tim Hortons, or Costco and see the new Canadian culture under leftie policies. Talk to Canadians about their healthcare, many are deeply concerned, increasingly many find it a welcome entitlement compared to new delhi.

I prefer to think myself as Jim, he was the younger and better looking one.
Do you think that the 5k payments if you vote like sheep will come in the same envelope as the DOGE dividend payments?

In all likelihood, it'll come in the same envelope that your better looking, 7.5k prius divdend came in. How is it holding up? Your lock step, socialist America is difficult to take seriously, but I can see how it gives you that tingle up your leg. Are actually moving to Canada, or is it just a triggered response from you and the other like minded sheeple? Great conversation, you have a day, lol.

Oh Sunshine, it is just your hope and dream that I am moving, the house is paid for and I'm not that motivated at the moment. YOLO and I have dogs to to run, I'm sure you understand. A Prius just wouldn't suite my needs, I do drive Toyota's though, Tacomas and 4-Runners since the 90's, you just can't beat them. Instead of a Prius, do you think EM could upgrade me to a Tesla? Always a pleasure Craig. Steve

Do you think that the 5k payments if you vote like sheep will come in the same envelope as the DOGE dividend payments? I absolutely hope that the $5000.00 dividend never happens. I don't need it, and would rather see the money used towards the Deficit and deportation of illegal aliens. Princess Stevie should direct any crying about the DOGE payments toward his/her fellow Democrats who fought tooth and nail to stop DOGE from shutting down corruption and massive wasteful spending. But that requires rational thought and honesty, rather than just parroting Democrat talking points. Same goes for the Princess frequently whining about the Deficit. Too bad Trump isn't actually a King or Dictator, because he can't even get Democrats in Congress to agree to any reasonable budget cutting. But when you have terminal TDS, it's all about blaming Trump for everything.

Do you think that the 5k payments if you vote like sheep will come in the same envelope as the DOGE dividend payments? I already spent mine so I don't have to worry about it not showing up !
