I know a lot of people who are starting to sell Parkers (and other good makes). The bulk of them could afford to enjoy them the rest of their life but they choose to try to not dump the burden of disposal on their heirs while maximizing there return. Counter to the common doomsaying, they look at the current high prices as an incentive to do it now.

One very popular internet site for fancy shotgun sellers/buyers currently lists 337 Winchester Model 21 for sale, the dumping has begun in earnest. The pool of prospective buyers is constantly shrinking. I don't blame the sellers, smaller profit is better than no profit at all.
