A.I. seems to be improving in some respects, but it still has many faults, and still relies on a massive amount of misinformation to arrive at it's conclusions or advice. I'm not sure it can reach a point where it can filter out the dominant paradigm if that is wrong. The fact that A.I. has been shown to simply make things up when it doesn't have an accurate answer is a huge red flag.
If A.I. was only being developed and utilized by those with nothing but the best of intentions to use it for the good of humanity, and the ability to control it, I'd be all for it.
Unfortunately, it will certainly be utilized by our enemies, our adversaries, and evil people who hate us. We are already being warned that it would be a great mistake to allow China for example, to get an A.I. advantage. It will be used by criminals to become much more efficient at fraud, theft, and deception.
So I predict the future of A.I. will become something like attempting to keep nuclear weapons out of the hands of radical Islamic lunatics, which is why I'm not at all bothered about paying around $4.00 per gallon for gas right now. I am not so nearsighted and foolish to think that simply ignoring the threat, or paying bribes to suicidal lunatics wouldn't inevitably lead to an eventual nuclear attack, and price shocks that would make our present situation seem like a bargain. But then it will be too late.
I do admit that the Democrats who brought us a minimum of 25% overall price inflation are doing a good job of fear mongering, and attempting to make people forget Trump's many accomplishments, and also totally neglecting to even mention how their policies got us in this mess. They will mishandle A.I. in the same manner if they get the chance.
