Someone was gracious enough to make me one for free using a block of steel about 10 years ago based on a post about this subject I had made on a different forum. Even with sizing wax and a 1 ton arbor press there were cases that would not go all the way into the die.
I would just note that a 1 ton Arbor press is on the low end of force for a shop press. They say an RCBS Rockchucker reloading press with compound leverage develops around that much force. I recently watched a YouTube video with a test of various brands of bench vises, and most were able to record much higher forces when clamping a load cell between the jaws.
I have a 3 ton Dake arbor press, a bench top Blackhawk hydraulic press with a 5 ton ram cylinder, and a larger H press with a 10 ton ram. But I have still taken things to work to press or straighten on a 150 ton Enerpac press, and even that is sometimes straining and reaching full capacity.
