I haven’t lately, but, did use the Post Office “Next Day” guaranteed service on a few guns. The last time, they missed the delivery by 12 hours, and the entire price was refunded. It was eye watering expensive, the tracking was good, in that I knew it wasn’t going to get there on time, but, knew where it was, and it got there in a day and a half, not bad.

I’m told there is no money back guarantee at this time, but, haven’t needed to ship a gun that was worth anything in a few years.

I ordered a couple LED bulbs off the ‘bay, not noticing the shipper was in China. The things got here in four days. The postman left them on the front porch, in the rain, not putting the package under the eve of the house. Orchestrated brilliance right up to the point of delivery, with the last step entrusted to a moron.

That is the roulette wheel you face when you ship something, anything, anywhere.

I actually don’t get too panicky anymore when they miss the delivery day by a day or two. Not worth it.
