Shrapnel and Ted seem to think that our current roadless federal lands should be wheel chair accessible. Try to imagine the cost of making that possible and the general disruption it would cause. Look, we have developed our way into the extinction of more and more species. Look up the figures for yourself. Preserving places for creatures other than ourselves requires limitations on our ready access to them. Hunting and fishing in the Rocky Mountain region are a dim shadow of what they were when we were young. That there is so much less left to conserve makes it all the more important to do what we can.
What I think doesn’t matter, Bill.
