For the past 15 woodcock and quail seasons (dove, too) I have posted photos of my guns, birds and dogs including the late Abby who died this past June at 15.5 after 15 years in the field. The only person who hunted over her as much as me was Floyd. A month ago he gave me the watercolor below that he did from a photo taken by me 10 years ago of 5 years old Abby pointing a doodle. It was an unexpected treasure of a gift. Floyd got the shot and the doodle. He was shooting his Ithaca SKB 100 20 gauge. I took the photo on my Blackberry. While more noted for his realistic bird carvings, he knows his way around a paint brush, too. Gil
