I checked with USPS and they are scan based. Not gps based.
Best you can ever hope for with them is that they will tell you the last time it was scanned in.
What happens between one scan and another is anybody’s guess.
It might be accurate, or it might be inaccurate.
If any customer of the US Postal Service is convinced that they are lying to them or attempting to deceive them in any way, the supervisor at the local US Postal Service post office said to “ask for the supervisor and lodge your complaint”.
The US Postal Service is not in the business of lying to people or deceiving them in any way.
Now granted, that was just one US Postal Service supervisor out here in Missouri, and that doesn’t mean there isn’t a cabal Us postal service workers operating out there, enjoying their slacker, lives and laughing at customers that they have decided to deceive.
